The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday annulled class 10 exams and delayed class 12 exams considering rapid increase in COVID-19 cases. The CBSE tenth, twelfth board exams were planned to be held from May 4.

The decision was taken at a significant level meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Cabinet Secretary, School and Higher Education Secretaries and other high ranking representatives were a part of the meeting.

The pandemic circumstance in the nation is seeing a resurgence of COVID 19 positive cases in numerous states, with a couple of states having been influenced more than others. CBSE Class tenth Board Exam Cancelled

The Board Exams for Class Xth to be held from fourth May to June fourteenth, 2021 are therefore dropped.
